Side of Northern Crater: Terrorist Base

Crafted into the edge of the gigantic crater is a massive base that has been slowly developed under Gale's nose. They've stockpiled on weapons but have yet decieded on how to use these tools of death...

Inside a large cavern computers and screens line the walls with soldiers opperating them. A table is occupied in the center by a woman who appars to be a building a model when two man walk in. "Still playing with your toys Icelina?" "Shut up Dycen. At least I don't sit around playing in the snow." "How dare you!" "Silence both of you!" The second man steps forward. "Shinra hs found us. We must be ready for an attack ASAP! The man turns to Icelina. "How the 'project' coming along?" "Perfectly, 75% complete. Don't worry, Domrse. It'll be ready soon." "Excelent. Dycen! Ready your troops for an attack and if I find you to fighting again I'll cut of your thumbs!" Domrse turns away and leaves the room, Dycen heads in the opposite direction and Icelina continuous to build a model of a Gundam.

Sephiroth leans forward and turns to Fury. "How much longer will it be?"

Cloud, Vincent, and Cid are tailing a small ways behind SOLDIER. Cloud walks up to the outer part of the highwind and looks out ahead. he thinks back to the days when he had an everlasting grudge against Shinra. he wonders why he is helping them now but dismisses the thought. finally, he spots the north continent and redies himself

"Alright. The top of the crater is covered in snow before it slowps down. If we cause an avalanche it will cut of radar and their weapons can't launch. We then blow a hole in the base and inflitrate. The we leave like nothing happend. The only problem is we can't cause an avalanche if they gave anti-aircraft guns hidden in the area. So we have to find out without losing any men."

Yeah. I got it. $9,500. These guys arent to be played with. Kara--this girl i met said there was a ruthless man as the head of the faction. he hurt her pretty bad, so we should be careful. *some chocobos run across the snow, as the night gets darker* keep in mind. Im a vampire and this materia spell for me to be day walking only lasts about 4 hours so dont expect much in the day time.

Kara Jaxell had begun to get a strange feeling that something terrible was about to happen to Cloud and his comrades. She couldn't just lie there being babysat by Tifa and Aeris - she had to do something.

Painfully getting to her feet, and making sure that Tifa and Aeris were asleep, Kara stepped onto the Pinball lift and rode it up. Pausing for a moment in the door (and briefly grasping the doorframe to keep from falling as she felt a wave of dizziness overcome her from her bad health), she looked back and thought to herself if she was doing the right thing.

Don't worry. Just keep going. If you don't, Cloud and his friends will surely meet a far worser fate than dear Haku did. Hurry.....

Ignoring her pain, Kara slipped away into the night to find Cloud and the others.......

Seto Jukaza: So. Those fools from AVALANCHE and Shinra think they can outsmart me, eh? I'll show them not to underestimate Seto Jukaza and M.O.B.
Come here, my dear Trentiff.

*Trentiff Lohto, a Dark Blue-haired vampire, dressed entirely in black and armed with two handguns, folded up his massive dragonlike wings and cautiously approached Seto.*

Trentiff: What is your desire, Sir.

Seto: If you truly wish to prove your usefullness to me and that I have no reason to kill you like all the others, then I'd like you to do me a favor.

Trentiff: What the heck would that be?

Seto: Since you were so kind enough to spy on those fools for me, then I want you to return there and.......kill the one among them they call Cloud Strife. Oh, and Trentiff, if anyone gets in your way, go ahead and kill them as well. Got it???

Trentiff (bowing his head to hide his anger): Yes.....Sir.

Seto: If you do this, I'll gladly release you from that control collar you wear around your neck and you'll be free to go wherever your heart desires.

*Trying hard not to show his face to Seto, the black-garbed vampire gritted his teeth in disgust of his task, used an invisibilty spell on himself, spread his mighty wings, and took off silently towards the direction of where Cloud and his comrades were preparing for battle*

Fury: "I'm gonna send the Kiowas to scout out a safe firing position to start that avalanche now."

The three Kiowas take off quickly, each armed with twin 2.75in rocket pods. More deadly, however, is it's laser targeting and communication link with the Apaches, which will be used to take out targets without ever being seen.

The three Kiowas travel in a broad line across the area, darting from cover to cover and watching for trouble. They reach a clear firing position without finding any enemy units and contact Icicle Inn.

The Apaches take off and follow the Kiowa's flight path a short distance to come within range of the target. They fire two salvos of Hellfire missiles--one from each wing--and break formation to avoid being targeted themselves.

Fury: "Got it."

As Cloud, Sephiroth, and the others mounted snowmobiles and such, they never knew that they were being followed by an invisible stalker.....

Trentiff grit his teeth at the thought of what he had been commanded to do. Kill a fellow Vampire. In his heart he knew that he couldn't, that he shouldn't obey that friggin son-of-a-biatch Seto Jukaza. But as long as he had that horrid control collar around his neck, there was nothing he could do. With a mere tap on the wristband that Seto wore, poor Trentiff would get an electric jolt to the heart. If he failed to do as Seto asked, all the basterd would have to do is hold down the button for 1 minute and Trentiff would surely die. The thought sickened him as he watched his quarry take off accross the snow.

"What the heck am I going to do??? Hmmm.....I could risk asking them for help - there's no way Seto could find out since I'm his only spy. But I don't think they'd be able to remove this darned thing off of me. Aw jeez... That does it. I'll ask Cloud for help.

Trentiff ascended into the air and flew off after Cloud and his comrades, never noticing that in the brush behind him was a purple-haired woman collapsed in the snow.......

Trentiff noticed Cloud veer off from the others and followed him. He found it rather odd that he should happen to return to the place he had just been moments before.

He silently glided down to where Cloud apparently was wading through the snow drifts investigating something. Then, he saw what it was.

That woman! I know her - she's one of a set of Vampire siblings that Seto claims to have mercilessly slaughtered. It would seem that the psycho didn't make sure the job was done. She looks.....eerily kinda dead. Hope she's okay. I'd hate to see another of my people perish courtesy of Seto Jukaza.

Moving in as close as he could, yet still keeping a safe distance, Trentiff spoke to Cloud - at the same time revoking his invisibilty spell.

"Don't be afraid, Cloud. I am an ally, not a foe. Is she allright???"

He paused for a moment, a tinge of terror in his face as he did. He was about to tell Cloud of what Seto commanded him to do, and he wasn't sure how to explain it in a way that Cloud didn't suddenly get the urge to kill him.

"I am a slave of the enemy. I do as Seto Jukaza wills me to, and should I ever disobey, am fatally punished by this wretched thing I wear around my neck. I don't mean to frighten you, but Seto has.....has commanded me to.....to.....to kill you."

Trentiff, who had been looking at Cloud the whole time he had been talking, suddenly stared off to the side at the snow - half expecting Cloud to lash out at him with his mighty Buster sword. Breathing heavily, he fearfully awaited what Cloud would do next, clenching his teeth tightly as he geared himself up for the worst.....

Sephiroth rides with the others on the snow mobiles and looks around. "Were the hell is Strife?" A SOLDIER who is riding near Sephiroth answers. "I think he went a diffrent way." "This is a glacier there is no diffrent way! Incompetent." Sephiroth swithes directions to find Cloud. "Go another mile and then stop to wait for the rest of us."
